IDAERO renews its sponsorship of MAD Formula Team and strengthens its support for young talent

IDAERO Solutions renews its sponsorship of MAD Formula Team, continuing a collaboration that gives students access to NaxTo and connects university education with real-world engineering challenges.

This support has included access to professional NaxTo licences, technical support and specialised training in structural analysis. Last season, we worked with the Stress department to automate finite element analysis (FEA) processes using NaxTo, addressing the management of multiple load cases and the development of custom tools through scripting.

Last season, MAD Formula Team’s hard work and dedication led to outstanding results. At Formula Student Austria, the team secured first place in SkidPad and fourth place in Engineering Design. At Formula Student Spain, it finished second overall, winning Business Plan and taking second place in both Engineering Design and Cost & Manufacturing. The team completed its international competition calendar at Formula Student Alpe Adria in Croatia.

We are proud to continue supporting MAD Formula Team on this journey and to contribute to the development of a new generation of engineers by giving them access to professional tools such as NaxTo, which they will be able to use in their future careers.
